Data integration & engineering
Connect enterprise and operational sources to reproducible, tested data products and controlled writeback.
Engineering scope
Database, ERP and CRM connections, files, APIs and industrial or sensor feeds are configured against source permissions and supported interfaces. Structured records, semi-structured messages and unstructured documents enter batch, streaming or change-data-capture paths according to source behaviour and operational needs.
Visual and code-based pipelines combine transformations, scheduling, dependency orchestration and incremental processing. Versioned logic, environment configuration and input snapshots make runs reproducible. Data contracts specify schemas, ownership, quality expectations and handling of late or missing records.
Bidirectional integration separates reading from writing. A governed outbound interface validates the destination schema and authorization, records the request and outcome, and handles retry or reconciliation without treating a repeated event as a new business action.
Configured inputs
Source schemas, database views, ERP/CRM interfaces, file manifests, API specifications, sensor topics and agreed source-to-target mappings.
Configured outputs
Curated tables, event streams, document indexes, tested pipeline definitions, lineage and reconciled outbound records.
Roles & operational workflow
Data engineers develop transformations; source owners approve contracts; operations teams monitor freshness and exceptions. A release owner promotes tested versions through development, test and production rather than editing production paths ad hoc.
Interfaces & governance
Service identities receive only the required source and destination privileges. Sensitive fields are classified before downstream access, rejected records are quarantined under policy, and schema changes trigger contract review.
Deployment implications
Connectors, schedulers, dependencies and pipeline execution can reside within the customer perimeter. Air-gapped sources use approved local connections or inspected import bundles; internet-based sources require a separately agreed ingestion boundary.
Deliverables & acceptance evidence
Acceptance includes source reconciliation, incremental and restart tests, schema-change failures, quality checks, lineage inspection and a permitted writeback test with duplicate-event handling.
