Open architecture, IP & handover

The solution’s intellectual property is available for review and can be provided as part of the project.

Engineering scope

Architecture, interfaces and standards are open to technical review. Source-code and solution IP review are available now; the review package explains component boundaries, dependencies, build paths and how the system can be operated and extended.

Project terms define source, configuration, build and deployment assets, tests, documentation, runbooks and training to be handed over. They also define the licences, ownership and rights to use, maintain and extend the delivered solution. The agreed handover is documented as a project deliverable.

Customer ownership of its data is distinct from software rights. The agreement separates project IP, reusable components and third-party materials. Dependency and licence inventories identify obligations and any restrictions; third-party rights are not represented as automatically transferred or unrestricted.

Configured inputs

Architecture boundaries, component/source inventory, dependency licences, customer data responsibilities and proposed handover and rights schedule.

Configured outputs

Reviewable source and architecture package, agreed source/configuration/build/deployment assets, tests, documentation, runbooks and training records.

Roles & operational workflow

Customer technical and legal reviewers examine the package; senior engineers explain architecture and build dependencies; project owners agree deliverables and rights. Customer operators rehearse maintenance and an extension before handover acceptance.

Interfaces & governance

The rights schedule distinguishes project-specific work, reusable components and third-party obligations. Review access, deliverables and delivery terms are documented in the project agreement.

Deployment implications

Local build reproducibility and dependency availability support independent operation. Air-gapped handover includes offline artifacts, installation instructions and locally executable tests under the agreed licences.

Deliverables & acceptance evidence

Acceptance inventories delivered assets, checks source/build consistency, exercises installation and maintenance from the package, validates the rights schedule and records training and customer operational ownership.
