AI Strategy
Defining the roadmap for embedding AI into any organization — from board thesis to prioritised delivery portfolio.
Boards, CEOs, chief AI officers, sovereign-fund principals, ministers and permanent secretaries, group CTOs, chief risk officers.
Every board in the region now asks the same three questions: where does AI create real value in our institution, what will it cost us to build it responsibly, and who owns it when we are done? An AI strategy is the written answer. It is not a slide deck; it is a board-signed thesis, a prioritised portfolio of agents, a sovereign-platform architecture, a governance regime, an operating-model change, an economic model and a 24-month execution plan. wesolutions writes it — with the customer, in the customer's own vocabulary, cleared with the customer's own regulator — and then stands behind delivering it.
AI strategy at wesolutions is written by the same senior partners who will deliver against it. There is no strategy team that hands off to a delivery team. The lead who signs the strategy signs the first three pods that come out of it, and stays personally accountable for the 24-month arc.
Every strategy is built around a customer-specific value map — cycle time, cost-to-serve, revenue per employee, national-content score, regulatory risk — and every recommendation is quantified against that map. A wesolutions AI strategy tells the CEO exactly which agents to build, in which order, on which sovereign platform, under which governance regime, with which economics.
Strategy is not the beginning of a long procurement journey. It is the beginning of a 24-month engineering programme. Every AI strategy we deliver comes with the mobilised delivery pod, the sovereign-platform reference architecture and the governance regime already scoped — ready to move to build the day the board signs.
Board-level AI thesis
A written AI thesis the board can adopt: where AI creates value in this institution, where the red lines are, what the 24-month ambition is and what the CEO is personally accountable for delivering. Signed by the wesolutions senior lead who will run the delivery.
AI value map and portfolio prioritisation
A quantified value map across the customer's own workflows — cycle time, cost-to-serve, revenue per employee, national-content — and a prioritised portfolio of six to twelve agents, each with a business case, a sovereign-platform footprint and a delivery pod scoped.
Sovereign-platform target architecture
The target architecture the strategy runs on: which sovereign tenancy, which models, which evaluation harness, which guardrails, which data-residency posture, which MLOps regime — cleared with the customer's own architecture board and regulator before the strategy is signed.
AI operating-model design
The organisation the strategy requires: where the chief AI officer sits, how agents are governed in the org chart, how human-in-the-loop conventions are set, how model risk is owned, and how the CEO / CTO / CAIO accountability structure is written down.
Economic model and financing plan
A full economic model for the 24-month arc: capex and opex by quarter, delivery-pod economics, sovereign-tenancy costs, national-content and offset modelling, and the financing plan the CFO will take to the board.
Regulatory and risk posture
The governance and model-risk regime the strategy will run under — DPIA, model-risk file template, red-team cadence, incident-response runbook, audit trail — pre-cleared with the customer's own regulator so that go-live is a signature, not a negotiation.
- 01One senior lead, named on day one, writes the strategy and signs it. The same lead runs the delivery pods that come out of it.
- 02Six-to-twelve-week strategy engagement. Weekly working sessions with the CEO / CTO / CAIO and the board sponsor. Monthly written update to the full board.
- 03Every strategy is scoped inside a specific sovereign tenancy — SDAIA-aligned, G42, Azure UAE North, Oracle KSA Sovereign or the customer's own — that the customer's compliance function has already cleared.
- 04The strategy is delivered as one written document (board-grade), one economic model (CFO-grade), one target architecture (CTO-grade) and one implementation plan (CAIO-grade). All four are signed by the wesolutions lead.
- 05Strategy and delivery are not decoupled. The delivery pod for month one of execution is mobilised on the day the board signs — no re-procurement, no re-selection, no re-onboarding.
A board-signed AI thesis, adopted at the board meeting the strategy is presented to.
A prioritised portfolio of 6 to 12 agents with quantified business cases the CFO has counter-signed.
A sovereign-platform target architecture cleared with the customer's regulator before mobilisation.
A 24-month execution plan mobilised on day one of the following quarter — with the delivery pod already named.
Sovereign wealth fund · firm-wide AI strategy
Ten-week AI strategy for a Tier-1 GCC sovereign wealth fund (AUM > USD 400bn). Value map across investment, risk, ops and legal; prioritised portfolio of ten agents; sovereign-platform target architecture cleared with the fund's compliance function. Strategy adopted at the board meeting it was presented to; delivery mobilised the following month.
Federal ministry · sovereign-services AI strategy
Eight-week AI strategy for a federal ministry's citizen-services function. Six-agent portfolio prioritised against a bilingual value map; sovereign platform scoped inside the ministry's own Azure UAE North tenancy; economic model counter-signed by the CFO.
National telco · group AI strategy
Twelve-week group AI strategy across a national telco and its fintech, cloud and media subsidiaries. Portfolio of fourteen agents across network operations, customer operations and enterprise growth; sovereign tenancy consolidation modelled; board-signed AI-risk regime.
AI strategy is right for institutions whose board has decided AI matters and now needs to decide what to do about it — coherently, defensibly, on a 24-month horizon. It is not right for institutions looking for a benchmarking report or a market-scan deliverable.
